What you learn

SKILLS curriculums deliver great “building block” results, but sometimes, more specific guidance and instruction is required. That is why SKILLS offers “modules” that can be added to any of the SKILLS offerings. For example, Private Instruction offers a 1:1 professional driver with the student. Have you always wanted to learn how to drive a stick shift? SKILLS will deliver hands-on instruction that allows you to become proficient in all aspects of driving a vehicle with a manual transmission . Will your new driver be in a pickup or SUV? The differences of a high-center of gravity vehicle is important to know and practice the response and limits. SKILLS Modules are available for many aspects of driving.

What People Are Saying

Jacob and I really enjoyed our day at the driving school. I know Jacob learned a lot. I feel very fortunate to practice scary situations in a safe environment without having to worry about hurting anyone or damaging my car and doing all of that in a safe environment with knowledgeable instructors. I loved the obstacle course at the end. That was FUN!!!!! I would do just that part again and again! Only next time I won't drag a cone under the car for almost the whole course. Ha! Ha! Jacob and I will be back to take day two soon. The entire school should be part of driver training for eveyone. On the way home from the school, a pick-up truck driver ran right up to my bumper and then quickly changed lanes to the right behind me, crossed in front of me, and then moved into the left lane on the otherside of me! It all happened so fast I had no time to realize how dangerous it was until he was almost out of sight. I thought if he only knew how incredibly thoughtless his actions were. He could have caused a four or five car collision. I also thought of how Jane would have let him have it! Those kinds of moves are for empty parking lots around cones and not on freeways at 65 mph with people all around you. I also appreciate the SUV module. I feel more comfortable in my Sequoia now. I know how it feels when the ABS kicks in. I know some people would say the school is just too expensive, but it was well worth the money if the students of the class either avoid a traffic accident or lessen the severity of one by using the skills they learned in the exercises. Thanks again to all involved. It was a fun and educational day,
